Abii is an early-stage deeptech startup based at DTU Skylab, Kongens Lyngby, Denmark. We are building the next generation of recombinant antibody production.
Our Mission
Antibodies are still bought one format at a time. Need the same specificity as a rabbit IgG, a mouse IgG2a, an scFv or an effector-silenced human IgG1, and you are back to a different supplier, a new development and a new validation.
Abii starts from the binder instead. One validated binder, produced from stable, sequence-defined cell lines, delivered in whatever format your work requires.

The Founders
Antonio Asensio Martín
Antonio is completing his MSc in Engineering in Biotechnology, with a background spanning molecular biology, genetic engineering and recombinant protein production. He founded Abii around its modular expression platform, and leads the company and its technical direction.
Sara Izpura Luis
Sara holds a Master's degree in Advanced Therapies and works as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Molecular Medicine (IMMA). Her background in gene and cell therapies gives her a deep understanding of the technical and regulatory landscape for biological products. She leads Abii's scientific strategy and its collaborations with research groups.
