The Abii Platform

Three technical innovations working together to deliver sequence-defined, format-flexible recombinant antibodies.

How Abii Antibodies Work

Conventionally, every antibody format is a separate product, with its own development, its own batch history and its own validation. Abii treats the binder as a permanent asset and the constant region as a configurable parameter.

01

Sequence-Defined Production

Every antibody is produced from a propietary genetic platform. No hybridoma or animal-derived step. The identity of each antibody is fixed at the DNA level, same construct, same antibody, batch after batch.

02

Modular Constant Region

Abii's constructs separate the variable domains from the constant region. Swapping the Fc redefines the species, isotype and effector profile of the antibody, and with them how it is detected and how it behaves in your system, while the paratope and the VH-VL interface stay untouched.

Same binder in any format
03

Proprietary Expression System

A proprietary expression architecture drives coordinated production of the heavy and light chains from a single modular construct, enabling efficient and reproducible antibody assembly.

Published Evidence

Same Binder, Three Species Formats, One EC50

Independent published work reformatted a single antibody into human, rabbit and pig IgG. The three versions bind the antigen with the same affinity within a narrow margin. This is the premise the Abii platform is built on.

Antigen-binding curves measured by ELISA. The same 25G1 binder reformatted as human IgG1, rabbit IgG and pig IgG gives EC50 values of 0.60, 0.82 and 0.79 nanomolar at minus 80 degrees Celsius and 0.59, 0.82 and 0.76 nanomolar at 37 degrees Celsius. The isotype control stays at baseline across the whole titration.
Titration of Tissue Factor antigen against immobilized antibody, measured by ELISA. Reported EC50 values with their 95% confidence intervals, for materials stored at −80 °C and 37 °C.

The Program

How a Project Runs

You bring the target. Each phase is a checkpoint, and you commit to one at a time.

0

Identify the binder

No commercial antibody for your target? We find a usable binder and verify it.

Deliverable
Binder candidate(s)
1

Antigen expression

We express your antigen recombinantly and confirm its identity before anything scales.

Deliverable
Purified antigen
2

Standard formats

Your binder delivered in the formats most labs use, from stable production.

Deliverable
100 µg / format
3

Custom formats

Effector-tuned and multivalent variants, built on the same binder on request.

Deliverable
100 µg / format

If a binder does not express well or does not recognise its target, the program stops there, so your commitment always matches what is actually working.
