1. Data controller

2. What we collect

We only collect the data you choose to send us through the contact form:

• First name and last name
• Email address
• Institution or company (optional)
• The nature of your enquiry
• The content of your message

We do not use cookies, advertising trackers or profiling of any kind. To understand how the site is used we rely on Vercel Analytics, which counts page views in aggregate: it stores nothing in your browser, sets no cookies and does not identify you.

3. Why we process it, and on what legal basis

We use your data solely to read your enquiry and reply to it, and where relevant to prepare a possible collaboration or service agreement. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract) and, for general enquiries, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us). We do not use your data for marketing and we do not sell or share it for commercial purposes.

4. Who processes it on our behalf

We rely on a small number of service providers, which act as data processors under written agreements and may store data outside the EU/EEA under appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses:

• Vercel — hosting of this website and cookieless, aggregate usage statistics
• Resend — delivery of the contact-form email
• Google — the mailbox in which we receive and store correspondence

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a working relationship are deleted within 24 months. Where an enquiry leads to a contract, the related correspondence is retained for the duration of the relationship and for as long as required by Danish accounting and statutory obligations.

6. Your rights

You have the right to request access to your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to contact@abiibiotech.com and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk).

7. Security

This website is served over HTTPS and contact-form submissions are rate-limited and validated before transmission. Access to received correspondence is restricted to Abii's founders.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as Abii grows. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
